In the Great Lakes and tributary rivers 20lbs common carp is the average size and they school in large numbers. There are many 40lbs carp. As you mentioned, carp fishing in Canada is not popular like in the UK and EU. A large sports chain store called SAIL is clearing out all of the Blax Carp Spirit inventory due to lack turnover. Canadians think of carp as garbage fish and turn their noses up at them. Canadians prefer to fish for walleye, bass and muskellunge in Ontario.
