Yah, tried them....not that thick enough ot tightly sprung, I've managed to use a spring out of the wife's hair clip, the biggest I could find, and it was the most expensive and favorite 1....didn't fo down well.1 point -

http://www.carpbooks.co.uk/ I read The Black Mirror Cult and thoroughly enjoyed it. A bit different from the first series as it's more of a "who is it" rather than an out and out fishing yarn. The good news is that a new book is coming out soon, The Italians Job. I'll be getting it!1 point -

I bought all the first 7 about 3 months ago and have nearly finished them and can't recommend them enough. Plenty of good fishing stories with the authors spin on topical subjects that inject a real sense of humour. I don't think that wokeism is coming to the Cunnington household any time soon! The only problem is that to get my Matt and Rambo fix, I'm going to have to buy the sequel book The Black Mirror Cult as well.1 point
