My 48hr Fishing trip been halfed to 24hrs due to bad weather....AND got a full refund off the owner...Awsome

It must be a month since I got the rods out, the recent hot weather has just sapped my enthusiasm from getting on with a lot of things, not just fishing...….. Last night we had some rain and as I speak there is a nice light cool wind and a few clouds in the sky...…. Sometimes you just have to say "sod it I'm going fishing"... I may have missed the best conditions, pretty sure they will be getting their heads down right now. But I will be out tomorrow evening for 24 possibly 48 hrs, once the weekend boys have had their space...….. Just been fine tuning some hook baits, gonna give the kit a look over this afternoon/evening as it hasn't been out of it's bags for a while...…. Later today, a walk round the lake with the dogs and a bit of bait, prime a couple of margin spots if there aren't many lads left on the lake, ready for tomorrow evening, some nice easy close in fishing, just what the Doctor ordered...🙂

I tend too go for a paddle...retrieving snapped line still attached to lead clip...not mine...1 of the other anglers threw to side of tree with a wayward cast and he didnt know what to do about it so i asked the owner and he brought his boat. I think i got that Sinkin Feeling..sorry

Have to.remember that one. At 2am yesterday morning I was in the garden in a wet towel after a cold shower and I was still sweating lol. Think I might move to a cooler country like Spain or something.

I dropped Baitworks a message to see if they would roll me anything bigger then 18. Unfortunatly at the moment they wont but they plan to bring bigger baits out. Mark sent me a few FB voice messages providing some suggestions (which by the way is brilliant customer service as i bet im not the only 1 asking questions). He mentioned coating the boilies in a paste and boiling for 30secs/1 min to help create a skin and increase the time it takes for the paste to break down.

Oh look, the almost inevitable resounding silence from the Cheshire / Staffordshire lads is here again. Daz, if you are serious about what you are proposing try the Carp tackle shops as near to you as you can. A personal chat with any of the staff will usually get a positive response, and if you are a regular in there you may avoid some of the bull, and misdirection, that some folk seem to delight in heaping on folk who ask for help.
