elusiveed
Hi All, Long time reader, first time poster. Got 11 days off work starting on Tuesday and have permission from the wifey (amazing what an expensive Valentines day card can do. ) to head off for a couple of 48hr sessions. Live in the East Midlands but don't mind a journey and just wondering if anyone knows of a venue thats fishing OK at moment? Understand the weather is not the best and winter carping can be hard but will be great just to get on a bank again at last and just want to maximise my chances of a fish or two. Obviously gonna target carp but if it has silver fish to aim at too if all else fails then all the better. A water I'm familiar with after fishing it in the summer a few times is Bluebell but that can be hard at the best of times although it's reporting a couple of decent carp recently along with 100lb of bream in a session. Any ideas guys? Many Thanks
jules007
welcome long time reader first time poster i would not recommend blue bell as like you say it can be a right hard water im sure some one will suggest a decent runs water, a place thats rammed with carp good luck

elusiveed
Thanks Jules. Yeah, trying to steer away from Bluebell but the phrase "Better the devil you know" keeps entering my head. Lol. Will see what others have to say on here as I'm sure other venues will come up. Cheers.
elusiveed
Hi Ward, Thanks, Looked at Drayton but, and I'm sure there may be an answer to it, but I'm not sure a bivvy can go up on those boardwalkways?

Looking favourite to try so far so thanks again.
