carpquarry Posted February 9, 2010 Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 Never seem to hear about anyone using freeline any more, Am I the only person who uses freeline with a cube of meat or bread. I still think it is a very overlooked way of fishing close in and around the margins. It catches me a lot of fish. Why dont more people try it on one of there rods when fishing they may be suprized just how good it is, a cube of meat on a size 8 hook on a bed of soaked mushed up bread. winky Posted February 10, 2010 Report Share Posted February 10, 2010 I spend quite alot of time in the summer stalking, freelining anything from boilies to lobworms in the margins, a great tactic which produced my pb.
