TBH I would take everything that you would normally take for an overnight in the UK

The things you need to take more of are clothes, wash bag, bait, PVA and depending on the venue a provision for food for the time if you don't want to leave or enough to get you through until you do, beware we found that in more rural areas the shops don't open on a Sunday, but speak to the owner or baliff and they can give you the local info

Make sure you check or change the batteries in everything and take some spares.

The only other thing that I take is an old blanket to put over my groundsheet just makes it a bit more comfortable

Hope that helps

Don't forget your beam deflectors either. A fire extinguisher is also recommended - you'll not get done for not having one, but if your car catches fire and you have no means to put it out, then you'll get done. Bless!

Talking about breakfast if you do come over to France dont forget to bring with you some sausages and bacon if you are not going to a place that does food also teabags these items are hard to get hold of nice ones anyway. All the food in my part of France ( Brittany ) is very expencive so bring it with you from the UK. Wine is still cheap but thats about it.
