best knot for leadcore

whats the best knot for tying your mainline to the fused loop of leadcore and what does every one think of the armalead leadcore

I use a Uni knot for tying Mainline to Leadcore Loops.

 

Never used the Armaled stuff, got on with the ESP and so see no need to change!

have you got any pictures on how to tie it and would a palomar knot be ok

I use either a palomar knot if I have two spliced loops or a needle not if there is only the one loop.Sorry I can't comment on the lead core in question as I don't use it

The best knot for lead core or nylon type loop leaders is the figure of eight loop as two strands of mainline link to the leader.
