does anyone know any good lakes in the lake district were you can night fish?

i heard rumers that carp cant survive in the lake district due to something in the hills that when it rains,and carp cant survive in it cumbrria has 1 lake but its a holiday resort .the lake district is mainly a salmon / trout and pike resort

that was in cumbria but i wouldnt recomend that lake complete $h@t

theres quite a few lakes in the lake district that hold carp windermere being one of them but dont hold your breath at 10 miles long they are not easy to find most of the waters that hold them belong to a club i cant remember at the moment but i will see if i can find the web site again

biggest is around 27 but it looks like it might be fun.

ve only fished this one for the pike but have seen carp to 18lb caught, a cracking common the hot spot for the carp i understand from the lads catching them is the farthest bank from the car park look for a gap in the lillys

as far as I am aware the only ones you can nightfish are clebarrow tarn and recently atkinsons tarn but only for members you could night fish windermere but it must be the hardest carp water in england?
