pezza
This is probably a stupid question but what is the differance between the zig and the helicoptor rig?

pineaplepopup
chod rigs hav hook lengths of usually 3 inches that are fixed between two beads, and helipcopter hooklengths a usually run up and down the line from the lead up to a bead that stops it moving. coops_northants
I fish a helicoptor trapped next to the lead with a buffer bead and rubber shock bead sideways... not sliding, but use a stiff link on a slider which is no different to a "chod" set up or even a helicoptor set up. A helicoptor rig is a helicoptor rig no matter what way you wrap it up. There is no diffinative set up for each rig arangement, just bottom conditions, fish your after, and bait set up. You just play about to suit what you need, but does not mean its a different rig.
