useph Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 here is video of me tieing up a pop0up rig and i wanted to have some constructive critiscism for my next vid of making a simple bottom bait rig. e.g. more close ups. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=wotDN0P1Bi8 Thanks Quote
zander1 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 You'd perhaps be better off using stills and narrating it as video image quality makes things difficult to understand Quote
useph Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 thanks Video quality is bad because its off of my phone and i had it set up wrong I'm going to get a camera for my b-day but dats a long time away so i'm gonna make do for now Quote
666carpcatcher Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Wait untill you have your new camera then as watching (or trying to watch) a poor quality video gets very boreing/irritating very quickly Quote
bluebirdjones Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 I would have suggested use a better camera but you're already on the case Maybe try filming it while you are on the bank for that more authentic fishing look Another thing you could do is to take close up pictures of the rig components needed to make the rig and just put them in with descriptions before you show the filming part. If you use the 'zoom in' effect on the pictures it can slowly zoom in on them so you can see them more clearly. Quote
useph Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Posted January 21, 2009 i've taken some of your advice to take pictures and i've made another video. i think the quality is a bit better but i havn't got a better camera to hand. try this one http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=is8wTAntNco Quote
sharpy86 Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Wait untill you have your new camera then as watching (or trying to watch) a poor quality video gets very boreing/irritating very quickly Agreed....didn't even watch 10 seconds! You will never get a very good video recorded all by yourself...Wait until you get the proper camera, then get a mate to help you. Record it a couple of times, and then add the good bits all together, remember to have the audio from just one video continuously playing - otherwise it will be really obvious that it is a cut and paste jobbie - expecially if there is background noise. Then when you come to a tricky part, like knots, have a close up video. It may take a couple of trys to get it right tho. Quote
