Have a gander at this:

Loads of lakes and fisheries in France, most with some links to web addresses, sites, e-mails and phone numbers.

If you also do searches on some of the venues you will discover that they have been mentioned on the forum before, so a look at existing threads may also help

Hi Kingfisher, as far as I am aware Carp Limo is no longer. I cant say for definate as someone may have taken it on but I belive it closed last summer. Perhaps someone can confirm or deny this if they know.

you always try Etang des landes. Great venue for a first trip to France. I was a france virgin until two years ago. Small water with good fish in it. The top weight is probably getting close to 50 now with a good head of 20's and 30's. Me and 3 mates are going again this July.

good hunting

Get yourself to Moorland Fisheries...................I own it.

Seriously the first advice that I would give would be to wait for at least early April before you make your first trip to France. March is often very good but the weather can be "variable" and this can affect your chances. Once we have crossed the 50/50 day/night date of 21st March the fish normally get their heads down more regularly and if you can then wait for them to settle into the habit of feeding you will stand far more chance of bagging some fish. Quite frankly if you don't catch much better than a twenty I would be surprised.

Wherever you decide on, have a good trip.

Keith
