ronny12345
does the korda iq fluorocarbon range not include a line less than 10lb breaking strain? do you know any good quality fluorocarbons that are around 6lb
Guest Anonymous
obviously it's a matter of choice pal but peronally I would'nt fish with a line below 10 lb besides what would be the point of a thinner fluro carbon as it dissapears in the water anyway
ronny12345
because i fish a lot on the feeder so the fish will feel the line as they are taking the feed out plus its probably just my match fishing ways of thinking but surely you must be more likely to get bites with a thinner line

chrispayne
Would i be right in saying fluro carbon's line IQ arent very abrasion resistant, this would be a good reason for not using it too thin, in light breaking strains. london_geeza
does the korda iq fluorocarbon range not include a line less than 10lb breaking strain? do you know any good quality fluorocarbons that are around 6lb the iq in 15lb is very thin, i wouldnt like to see the diameter of the 10lb stuff, apart from that i think iq is the worst fluorocarbon on the market, i had some abut 6 months ago and took it back to the shop after testing it and found the 15lb stuff broke about half its stated bs. may have been a dodgy spool i had, but i aint touching it again. london_geeza
o ok thanks. what millimeter diameter is the korda iq in 15lb? i dont know exactly but looked to me around .30 possibly thinner ( which wouldnt be my choice of 15lb line ), again i may have had a bad spool and it may have been in sunlight or whatever possible reasons. i dont like fluorocarbons anyway, there either too thick and curly or too thin and snappy, if u know what i mean :D the 12lb esp ghost is probably the best on the market, but i still wouldnt rate that too highly. delkimtxi
as the london geeza said iq is s*** its 2 curley and kinks reel easy and wont straten out i use e.s.p ghost its much better and cheaper:D
trees
I prefer IQ to any other flurocarbon i've used, but don't very often use them now, I prefer braids & coated braids, unless I want a VERY short and stiff hooklink. I have never had a problem with it kinking, cause if it does, a bit of steam/heat soon straightens it.
