donington lake cheshire?

Hi guys . Just found a lake called donington in cheshire looks like it could hold carp but cant find any one to talk to about it . Has anyone got any info on the place?cheers.

I think you mean Doddington as Donington is near Nottingham

choked with weed in summer to the extreme, few big fish, rammed with naturals, birdlife is mayhem, ............persevere

oh.... you need a baitboat too .....and i hated the damn things beforehand but will be fishing at upto 300+yds so needed good bunch of lads....or used to be....big bait water so expect an expensive campaign

i just got a 6 month ticket and the place is massive does any 1 no if there are any hot pegs or which tactics work best??? i had 24 hours on my first trip fished 2 chod rigs over a wide spread off boilies had just the 1 run at 1.30am but lost it as i was bringing it in also can i shoot the birds???
