carp_chick1972 Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Hi can anyone please give me some info on Bluebell Lakes i.e what does it fish like in the winter? How hard is Kingfisher and Swan? cheers Lisa Quote
kevtaylor Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Kingy isnt easy at the best of times, swan is said to be a bit easier. IMO the complex isnt much of a winter water TBH - but its probably best to ring them and ask for advice. Quote
mrbudgie Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 i was wondering too as well, as I am doing 24 hours there this weekend. think I am gonna try blue bell lake though because if the carp aint catching maybe the other species will. Quote

Bluebell will be the last to switch off in winter and first to switch back on in spring as its the shallowest by far. Nice lake - enjoy! Quote
