looking to catch a carp round coventry tomoz any recomendations of some where thats not frozen as only two places I can find after ringing about are tunnel barn farm and western lawns.

count me and my bro in if you guys wanna do a group night fishing on the canal as I aint dared it yet to many plonkers.. and I have never carp fished the canal so could be fun

last time i was there, chap next to me pulled out a wopper. must of been at least 25 maybe more.. i'll dig out the pic.

if its a hot day go on the small pool and go round to the back were there is a little u-shaped area that stretches out there. and sit on the grass bank casting bread or floaters to under the trees on the other side and you'll be in for a busy fun day. some pretty decent fish in there we've had a 14 out on bread ther last summer. also some nice tench on the bottom in that area too if you get some bottom baits in.

lo all any one know what this fishery is called just outside coventry, on hospital lane. i was wondering too as well, as I am doing 24 hours there this weekend. think I am gonna try blue bell lake though because if the carp aint catching maybe the other species will.

was there on sunday on the great lake 4 of us 3rods each and all blanked, it seems a hard place to fish this time of year from want some of the other peeps fishing it were saying

did a day 2 weeks ago had five all around 8 to 13 lbs. i was on the boards about 20 pegs down from boats, anything halibut flavoured seems to catch best for me at drayton.
