carpingod150 Posted September 22, 2008 Author Report Posted September 22, 2008 I mean the actual Chid rig itself, not the helicopter lead set up Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 I mean the actual Chid rig itself, not the helicopter lead set up Who says I fish it only as a Fixed position rig even over gravel? My dislike of the Name "Chod" rig It is a rotary style rig and lead set-up, Bomb-on-the-end-of-the-line or Helicopter set-up. Quote

I thought you didn't like the 'Silt' rig, regardless of what you're fishing over, or did you mean the Rotary set-up in weed? Quote

A Rotary style set-up used in the right place/situation is not a problem. Quote

138cgj Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 I agree that the longshanks are the main problem with the 360....horiffic damage to smaller fish but then again scaled down maybe ok?, but how can you determine wether or not a virgin water only holds big fish? Can you rely on someone telling you? i couldnt. And i dont always have the time to make observations myself, which is in a lot of cases impossible anyway. Quote
