I've not been beofre and will be fishing in one of the lower numbered pegs, we've booked out pegs 2 to 5 but am hearing that the higher numbered pegs, around 10, produce the most at the time of year we're going... doh! sirpotter Posted March 25, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2008 Ok, was out there last year in Aug, with mates had swim's 5,6 and 7. i was in 7. had 5 takes and landed 3 fish biggers was a 33lb common. mates done well in swim 5 had alot of grasses, (60+) lake record? tractorlad Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 Fished there myself a few years ago, the successful methods my friends and i used involved spodding large amounts of hemp , pellet and corn to around 90metres and fishing all 3 rods tight to the baited area.However, if your any good with the throwing stick, some good catshes have been had using large boilies alone.The latter method would also ensure you dont get bothered too much by the large head of grass carp which seem to feed right on dusk making accurate recasts a little more difficult Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
