have heard its hard work since thay netted all the other coarse fish out of there,but the stretch of the trent they have at the back looks good,plus the only stretch of the mease that (that i think)youd have a chance of a barbel. mark

were would you suggest in the area for good size carp

im already a member of fisherwicks,and planing on having a good go on oddstones this year,but no night fishing at oddstones......cheers mark

If you have a Burton mutal ticket, get on some of there waters some very nice fish in some. i know one of there waters is pushing 30lb fish and hardly fished :wink: (i think there is 2 out now over 30 come to think of it) :wink:

think i now the water your on about :wink: big place....

oddstones has 30s on the bm ticket as well,but everybody ive spoke to who fishes it for carp say its a very hard water.

had a 5lb chub out of there last month will pike fishing,took half a lampry :shock: .....mark

Hi guys,

 

There is some good fishing available on the BMAA ticket. I've personally seen 30's come out of two waters, and seen pictures of another from a different water.

 

666, I think the water your talking about is the one I do most of my fishing on.

 

Xray, in my eyes your money would be better spent on another ticket, not heard much about the stock of catton park but the flooding can be a big problem in that area.
