Roughtor Posted September 21 Author Report Posted September 21 Thanks for info ,that's part of what I'm after,a short rod that actually bends ,I tried a ESP ,3lb stalker in a shop, it was proper stiff ,that was a 10ft tho Those NGT ,look good for the money ...its hard finding gear to look at before I buy as most places I fish are very quiet Quote
framey Posted September 21 Report Posted September 21 (edited) I think nick has/had a set of the NGT ones you can feel the Cork flexing in the butt on the greys with fish of about mid teens. i also Chuckeda small spomb out with them if I was fishing with 2 rods. to be honest I did abuse them and they took it all. Cheers 🥂 I bought the NGT stalker 9ft 2 piece, it looks very well made nice smart modern looking rod but seems rather stiff for the given test curve, so i ended up getting and angling direct 7ft river ambush 1.75lb rod and its pretty soft in the tip, very sensitive and have to say rather nice, im super pleased with it but would not want to fish a lake that has carp above mid to high double with it Roughtor 1 Quote
