carpoholic Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 Early April is the earliest I have been and it was a good trip but it depends on how the weather has been in France. Also November can be very good if the weather holds. Anything in between April and November will tend to be more reliable. Quote
silly12sally Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 Dont people fish Cassien over winter time and have success? Im pretty sure the larger fish shoal up so if you find them then you are laughing. Steve Briggs fishes cassien over xmas time. Quote
mrs_rusheslake Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 January & February in France can be a bit harsh weatherwise, also some lakes are likely to freeze for at least a couple of days or so during the first 3 months of the year and it makes prebooking a bit of a lottery. Easter is early next year so I think you will find most lakes will open for 22 March, we certainly wont be opening till then. Quote
