Hi all, It's been years and I mean years since I've been to this lake, it's a 10minute walk easy from my house the short way.

I'm literally on it now walking the dog, in the right hands this would be an Awsome fishing lake (or 2).

I'm on a bay end of the lake now.

Top end of the lake has a little bridge between both...

That was the bigger lake (half)

Now the smaller...

This is 1 of the pegs, what looks like still in use...

And the bottom looks like gravel.

It would be interesting to find out what is happening to this place, as when I was younger there was some decent Tench in here and I know the smaller lake is the deepest... Also used to be full of leeches.

I had the same thought. Either way, I'd like a few days on there just to see what's what. I like an adventure.

I've known about this pond many years and I heard it was plundered by Eastern Europeans having bbqs with there captured quarry on the bankside. I often walk over with the dog and often fly my drone and I've spent many hours looking for carp topping on warmer days. I also heard of 3 carp upto 20lb being caught on scotsman and being introduce about 15 years ago. 2 mirrors and a full leather. Not 100% though.. its very rarely fish but I've seen small roach and perch in the spring but no signs of carp but I recon they'll be in there.

Red Pond - I know lad who goes now and again for the Tench, some good ens too not many.

Scotsman - there are some decent carp and Pike in there... Carp I've seen to 34lb, Pike to over 20lb, but very deep in places, most people fish around the island or even from it in the bay area.
