Pete Springate's Guns
Looking for ideas on a new bedchair. I’m primarily looking for comfort above everything. As a 52 yr old with more aches and pains and struggling to sleep I’m prepared to sacrifice weight etc for a decent nights kip. Might consider a ‘sleep system’ integrated sleeping bag thingy. commonly
Avid rest bite. memory foam, still great nights sleep after 4years. Had to tighten the chords a bit but I am 15stone. I'd get the wider one next time
dayvid
Started with the Fox Ultra back in the day very good , then to Nash Indulgence light years ahead of the fox , and now onto the Nash Airlite Wideboy sleep system SS3, fantastic piece of kit , very comfortable and versatile with how you use the quilts or not. I went for the wide as I dont zip the side of the bag up , so the quilt is just that little bit wider over the standard so you tend to get less draughts . On hindsight I should have bought the SS4 only because it has longer legs . I do think in this day and age though their are a few other makes equally as good , after all its only a frame with Para cord around it
harpz_31
im 6'4" tall and 18 stone and suffer bad backs a lot and the best thing I did was get a wideboy bedchair and tighten the cords up as much as possible. coupled with a 5 season bag with a zip out inner core im as snug as I am at home. the only problem ive got now is I don't want to get out the hit a run. bedchair = nash zbed sleepingbag = avid benchmark x

Pete Springate's Guns
Appreciate the replies fellas. Anyone had experience with the Avid Benchmark Sleep System? It’s a lot of dollar but could be a real investment for better sleep, particularly through the long winter nights. commonly
