harpz_31 Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 I'm thinking of ditching the carps rods and cracking out the river rods for some chub and barbel bashing on the trent over then next few months and was looking for some decent thermal socks would be nice if I didn't sweat loads while walking but didn't get cold when I stop at a likely looking swim price isn't an issue for a good pair so any feedback would be greatly appreciated Quote
cyborx Posted October 12, 2018 Report Posted October 12, 2018 i have had both these and some by Thinsulate that were excellent and lasted for ages. Quote
Guest Dez Animaux Posted October 15, 2018 Report Posted October 15, 2018 Sealskinz Duty (military issue) thermal breathable waterproof are the ONLY winter sock worth considering.. Been using them for years, and they last years with the right care i.e wash them gently and drip dry only. You can walk around in the snow in them, says it all really. Get the X large versions as they fit tight and are hard to get on and off Quote

Guest Dez Animaux Posted October 16, 2018 Report Posted October 16, 2018 They're not that tight, what I meant was they are a little hard to get on and off And I can asssure you as a very cold extremities sufferer I have worn these winter fishing for a decade now and been kept as warm as toast Quote
