Quite a good idea in the right situation, finding the blood work beds .....

Finding things such as bloodworms instantly came to mind when I saw it. Its expensive though, wouldn't want snag up on something, or it crack off on the cast and lose one.

im sure someone can do the same with a sweetcorn can.  Cast out let it sink, the quickly lift the rod tip and wind in like mad.  What does it tell us ?  the ground in front is silty and muddy or weedy and gravelly.  The same as a lead already tells us but with out digging out little scoops of lake bed.  Do they do one in green?  I'll have two.

Don't think it's really for hard gravel , think it's really to help finding what silt your fishing over whether it's the good stuff or the smelly horrible one , I would like to see someone cast a old sweetcorn can out and get the same result ..... don't think I will bother getting one but I can see why some would....
