A1 pits

Hi peeps going on the A1 pits this weekend,I have fished it a few times now with no joy .I will be on pit 6 I think its about 60acers any help as to the best tactic would be helpful .I don't just want to boot it out 130 yards and hope for the best that tell me that fishing the margins is a waist of time so any help would be welcome 😉

60 acres .I have walked round and round maybe 4 /5 times for one you don't see them but sometimes when you do see them there 200 yards out

If that's where they are then that's where you need to (attempt to) fish mate! Simple fact is you won't catch carp when there's none there to catch so unless you can find them and fish for them you're counting on a lucky bite (which in 60 acres would have to be very lucky).

Follow thier FB page mate its a lively group. I havent fished it but i can tell you from the group that its hard, and the people catching are people that dont set up until they see fish. Seems like they fish pretty long as well.

Yeah thanks all good advice I have had fish of the pits but that pit 6 is testing me to the limit but I suppose the harder it is the better the rewards
