Holt pools lake?

Hello all, I'm looking for some information I used to fish at a lake called Holt pools in Worcester in West Midlands not been for a while was wondering if someone has the telephone number & postcode.

My advice would be to phone Alans tackle in Worcester, it might be one they run but not 100% on that .

But there definitely point you in the right direction anyway.

No probs ....Good fishing at the weir there on the Severn too & well worth a look .

You have to turn up and pay.there are 3 pools up there,if I can rember its £7.50 per rod hope this helps

Its on the A443 to Worcester on the right hand side just past Top Barn Farm. Its not the pools next to Holt fleet bridge. Started my carp fishing there back in 1981 and this is where some bloke showed me the hair rig. I could not believe that I would catch with the bait not on the hook. As they say the rest is history. There was only a few of us that seriously fished for the carp back then. I used richworth tuty fruity and then hammered the place on chick peas. The then owner banned boilies and put the price up to £6 per rod. We only used to pay £6 a day so a lot of us moved on. There was some nice fish but they did have some problems and lost fish but that was over ten years ago.
