stuster
Did anybody see Tight lines this friday, the reason im asking was they showed a heavy supple braided hook link in the famous tank test and try as I might I could nt get the name of it. Is there an eagle eyed viewer out there that might have caught it as it seems to be a blinding bit of kit.
charlieg
The material that was put in the tank was avid carp version of a lead free leader. It wasn't a hook link material but Solar tackle do it as a hook link. It's called unleaded and is available in 15lb and 25lb breaking strains
cobleyn
I use the solar stuff in 80lb for hooklengths for arapiama. Awesome stuff. Nash armour braid is good stuff. Not the most flexible braid on the market, but sinks like a stone and is really abrasion resistant.
stoogi
The stuff from Avid is called Pin Down. I've got a spool to trial, looks good so far.
