adam77 Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Im new to carp fishing and making my own rigs but when im making my setups i make them as fish freindly as possible dont want a fish to be swimming around with 2oz weight hanging off its mouth. Anyways ill be threading my mainline through avid inline safety lead attach a swivel to end and will slot it into the hole other end securing the weight then attach braided hair hooklink to swivel will be using Ez camo spiderwire 20lb breaking strain so if mainline breaks fish swims off and weight will slide off the mainline happy fishy but i want something to put on my mainline before the weight to sink it so i dont spook the fish any ideas ? preferably something i can thread my mainline through thanks Quote
arl Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 perhaps a bit if tubing to blend in with the bottom Quote
ozzyakadrew Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 I would go for some tungsten rig tube korda dark matter is my choice at the moment but the nash one is ok also maybe a flying backlead aswel. Quote
stoogi Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 Korda sinkers, providing you don't have your mainline too tight. Quote
arl Posted April 7, 2012 Report Posted April 7, 2012 dont need korda sinkers mate ,just a couple of small shot and if so a little bit of putty Quote
