Hello people. Gonna be fishing manor farm lake @ richworth linnear fisheries. Any tips or advice would be gratefully received. Thanks

It was a brilliant lake back in the mid nineties  Might have rose tinted spec's on though as that was my first [and Linears first] forty in the shape of "Popeye" at 40lb 2oz [06.45am, 5th November 1996 to be precise].

That's given you some history to the lake, now go and catch a few.

It also gave me a pb of 36lb 14oz on cell tipped with fake corn and several upper 20's and 30's great lake if you can get on the fish and if at first you don't succeed try and try again

That brings back some good times i remember that nov well! i was fishing st johns at the time..i had a 19lb common which i think is now called the orig long common..

i can remember being on st johns for a week and there was not one other angler on the lake

i then moved onto manor the spring after sir mooresy had popeye

Again could do a few days without many on the lake.

first session i did a lad from manchester popped down for a 48 and had a 35 mirror from the old back bay!
