terryf59 Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Right how much should i bend the tubing? should i make a near circle bend or should ihave it just bent coming of the hook? Quote
pezza Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Totally depends on what rig you are using and what you want to achieve, most people have it so it has a slight curve. Quote
salokcinnodrog Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Totally depends on what rig you are using and what you want to achieve, most people have it so it has a slight curve. Can't argue with that! Some are just straight with a Line Aligner I make some rigs up with a Gentle Curve in the style of the Piggyback hooks that Partridge used to make, and some with an Extreme Bend Bent Hook rig style. Since its Shrink Tubing it straightens out and does not damage The Carp. Short Answer, find what works for you with what you want to achieve Quote
zammmo Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 My take on shrink tubing is, one of its main funtions is to increase the gape of the hook. How much you bend it,depends on which rig you are using. There are loads of book and magazines which will help you... Quote
