keithparish Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Hi Mate. Try the Ouse directly behind the Woolpack complex in Godmanchester or the Ouse at Brampton near the railway bridge. Numerous carp to in excess of 30lb. Problem is keeping the bream etc off your bait. Good hunting Quote

Earith around the Marina's You'll be expected to plenty of your own work, river carping is never as easy as locating them on a lake Quote
welder Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 The Great Ouse, immediately south of central St Neots. There's a large public park with a good stretch of bank available. I was there during the close season so couldn't try for the carp I watched casually mooching right in the margin, showing no fear of me or my dogs. I'm going back there this year. After June 16th.
