carp in france!

Hi,

I was just wondering i anyone can recommend a good venue in france with a good head of carp up to around 40lb. not too fussed about the massive 1's as im just starting out but we wanna catch so would prefer a venue with quantity rather than quality so to speak.

Have a look at Etang de Planchon, the lake is opening for it's first season in March.

It is stocked with virgin carp to 50lb+.

There is a good head of mid to upper 20's, mid 30's a few 40's and 2 x 50lb+.

Rushes is great, especially for your first trip to France for fishing. Plenty of fish to 40lb, great food and great hosts.
