carperjake Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Did an overnight there a couple of years ago. It's set up as a noddy/match water. Popular with local carpers though but i didn't particularly like it. Lots of small fish (2-5lbs) and tench/bream/ide which wiped out any baited areas/presentation. Meant to be some bigger fish there but not easy to get through the smaller ones to get to them. Tried bigger baits but still kept hitting smaller fish etc. Very peaceful but wide open with very few bivvy pegs. I prefer larger waters with trees etc. Quote
