3 Lakes in Selby

Alright there everyone. Was just wondering if anyone has fished 3 lakes in Selby.? was impressed by their website and was maybe fancying a couple of days fishing trip there in the next couple of weeks. Is it a well stocked lake, nice place etc etc.

hate to say it but selby 3lakes is not as good as it was a few years back for reasons i wont go into on a public forum.

 

have a look at fairview fisheries, very pretty and some cracking fish to go at

TBH Jules Fairview used to be better, by that I mean the main fish "C Scale" its weight has dropped off a fair bit from the 40 it once was down to around mid 30 last time caught. Plus the venue is very clicky.

 

Where abouts are you Graham, I'm guessing East/North Yorkshire?

Im from Newcastle mate, from what I gather there's very little up here in terms of Carp lakes and I dont mind a little trip, was looking at Sapphire lakes in Newark, Nottinghamshire as well. Any recomendations would be much appreciated lads as Im pretty new to Carping and would love to try my hand at a few different places.

does the qe2 in ashington not have a good head of carp in it ??

cant recommend sapphire, i did a good few sessions on there and had one carp out, a new pb but defo a hard water and the trains do ya head in!!!

There's a lake at catterick, can't remember its name, I'll have a look, meant to be OK.
