Anyone fished here?

 

Heard a few good reports of good head of carp running into the 30lb mark

There's a blast from the past. I fished there a few times, many years ago. If it's still the same, then avoid the place. All the fish i saw were mutants, their mouths had been ripped to pieces by bad angling & a total lack of care for the fish.

Typical crap commercial fishery, last time i was there (many moons ago) lots of rubbish, mullered fish but some cracking Perch.

To be honest i was told about it by a local tackle shop who said it fished really well, Had a wonder down there yesterday and the place didnt do anything for me the land looked over grown and had a strange feeling ( not a good vibe ) about it for some reason?? , Spoke to one of the guys fishing he said hes had a few to 25+ out.

At the end of the day it's years since i fished it and that was for the Perch, it might be better now so it's your choice.

The place gave me that dirty feeling and the need to have a shower just from walking around the place , i think ill go with my gut feeling and keep away.
