dangerousbrian75 Posted July 30, 2011 Report Share Posted July 30, 2011 afternnon all so, hows the fishing been going for you all this summer (?? ) then? the syndicate i joined out near ely has so far only given me three - all in a 48 hour session - 24, 23, 19lb. two mirrors, one common. the other x6 24hr sessions have seen two missed takes, and thats it. still, got my pb at 24lb 7oz. did an early morning session on dents farmshop three sats ago - got up at three and fishing by 4. man, did it rain! had x3 out up to 15lb. theres some big ghosties in there, but damned hard off tonight for 24hours. i'll report back tomorrow Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pearbo Posted July 30, 2011 Report Share Posted July 30, 2011 Had 28 out of bradmoor this year. done a handfull of nights and short sessions. Nothing huge but had em up to 18lb. Had one at 20lb 4oz from catch 22 last Friday. Probably more luck than skill as there were a couple of lads next to us that had been there 5 days for nothing. Fished Swangy and got breamed out. No cats (blamed the temporary live bait ban). The old man lost a big common at the net that was every bit a 30. The rod followed the hooklink as it flew past my ear whilst on the net. Couple of fun trips down dents, Only up to about 17lb tho. But when it is coupled with 25 other fish it is fun. Going to a lake out a Gedney Hill tomorrow, has got 5 30s in apparently. blythy Posted July 30, 2011 Report Share Posted July 30, 2011 my seasons going well,didnt rejoin bradmoor,just wasnt the place for me! joined nar valley instead. had a 9lb and 13 commons from lake 3 and a 35lb mirror and a scraper 30 leather from geneva! only fished geneva the once,simply because the fish were there infront of me,couldnt miss the opertunity tbh! tancho321 Posted August 4, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 4, 2011 First session on Bradmoor last week and had 17lb common on Pit 1. Returned to Nar Valley for 3rd session, fished in last swim which was snaggy but managed to find clear spot and bagged a 17lb 3oz common. Can't wait to head back to the place. dangerousbrian75 Posted August 7, 2011 Report Share Posted August 7, 2011 did a 24hr stint on tazwoods heron....blanked. out of the seven people who were there from friday till sun am, only one fish out. too many people fishing it perhaps? there was a nother four at least further down that i could see. could have been more. definately off somewhere new next weekend at some point i think, time to start the scouting for next year too. Was going to check this out for next year alongside Nar Valley. Will probably still keep Bradmoor ticket too as for £70 can't go wrong for the odd 24 hour session. dangerousbrian75 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Share Posted August 26, 2011 morning all now getting myself sorted for a 24hr stint on sndi number one. weathers shocking here today, so waterproofs are definately going on before i leave gonna be trying out some armamesh with tuna, corn and peri peri muscles amongst other little treats on at least two rods. the last two waters i've fished has either produced missed takes, or landed fish. got a feeling hooks were too small hence missed takes.
