  1. I have now brought the avid naked chod kit
  2. I just brought of ebay some korda line saver beads? wont let me post a link
  3. perfect, so if I do as normal and thread my mainline through my eyes of my rods etc. thread the sinkers onto my line, then put the chod onto my line and then another sinker with a bead over the top and then my lead? another option to prevent the grating as what hutch said is to thread say a meter of tubing over my main line and set it up that way? thanks
  4. Right...not to clued up on these but here goes. Is it possible to use my mainline-Korda 15lb sublime and insert the beads and cod and connect the lead to the mainline, a couple of blobs of putty to pin it down. Is this how you perform the naked chod. I know there is more components but that a short description. Is this strong? Thanks
  5. Yeah i use the palomar but struggle with the stiffness, never really use flurocarbon but want to introduce it more into my fishing this year. I've got a few made up with krimps but a bit scared to use.

  8. Hello lads, planning a 72 session but un decided where to go. its between either farlows main lake or sandhurst. not to sure what to go for so was wondering if anyone has any information? weed levels? bottom? also the fish thank you
  9. fully agree with what you said. the approach from looking online is now a maggot clip rig with a small pva off maggots and sweet corn. and the other rod on a kd rig with the korda i.b fake corn on it with a small pva of sweetcorn and maggots very light baiting if any at all but will see when I go.. cant wait as this is my first session in a good couple of years
  10. After not fishing for a couple of years due to my stuff getting eaten by rats I am now back fishing and have re purchased everything now I want to find I good syndicate preferably a gravel pit of some form I am from new Malden, Kingston (surrey) and don't mind traveling up to a hour and half away. 11. Hello all, I am of to hawkhurst fish farm on the 27th of this month for a 48 hour session. im planning on fishing two rods over a spod containing chilly hemp, party mix, red maggots and lots of corn. one rod will have a maggot clip and other will be corn. On the 3rd rod Im scattering cell boilies and fishing a snowman rig, not going to marker this rod just doing it in open water. was wondering if anyone has and tips or past knowledge of the lake will be fishing the main lake thanks alot
  12. I personally haven't fished it,my mate fished it a year back and had a lovely 33lb common on a 24hour session im also thinking of doing 3 nights there my self in march. also linear in oxford is a nice fishery but im guessing you have heard of that! orchard farm in Kent is good, fished that many times had carp to 24lb but it stocks carp to 50lb plus and is heavily stocked. they have 8 lakes on the complex and I found lake 7 is the best fishing on either of the 2 points, there clay pits so not to much to find beneath the water but the carp are really nice in perfect condition. Once you get on the fish its excellent fishing and also on a lovely site with showers etc and pre ordered meals brought to your swim thanks tom
  13. hawkhurst fish farm in kent is a lovely fishery to do a long stay. big well kept swims and a on site cafe also if its any good to you there are some huge carp to be caught!! hope this helps check there website out tom

  16. think ill do that then, air dry for a week,i am looking at taking around 20k and buying 20k there
  17. yeah I think its silly they don't offer the shelf life option so how do you think I should approach taking mainline cell bolies to france? I will air dry them in my shed for 48 hours before I go then bucket them up, shall I put them back in the air drying bag when I arrive? also whats the best way to rehydrate them thanks tom
  18. ive been looking online and cant seem to find mainline cell shelf life bolies anywhere?
