Anyone using the 9ft version and found a bag they fit in?

Hi mate, Fished it a few times. You need to be a member of CAPS, Do 4 work parties or pay an extra £130. No 40's but plenty of 30's in there. Absolutly tons of fish in there, 10 - 18lb would be the average stamp i would say. Cast long for bites, cast short for bigger fish in my experience, they like bait and are not afraid of the spomb (had loads of runs whilst i have been spombing). The fish are always showing. Set up on them if u can.

Cleverley Mere always looked really busy all the time from Bovi 2 (CAPS lake), If your interested in that lake have a look on Kordas site for Elliot's diarys. He was fishing there.

Anyone recommend a pair? Is a £60 any better then a £10 pair? I don't care how they look, they just need to show me the fish!

Cheers im going to fish on site for the odd couple of hours here and there so will stay onsite on the main lake there.

Sorry i should add the wife and the baby will be with me so fishing will be at random times.....it wont be a "fishing holiday".

I have an adobe 2 man man. Its a decent bivvy. pretty big but i must say im pretty heavy handed so had damaged mine where the tent pegs go in. But had it 3 years, It hasnt leaked, Its solid enough and the over wrap is great for winter.

Hi, Those A12 lakes are alright, fished it a few times. Only problem they have over there is flooding, And it REALLY floods as the river is right next to it as well loads of the fish jump ship between the lakes and the river.

I only use righ tubing over the hook to protect the fish in the net. I have had a few instances where somehow the hook eye gets tangled in the net meaning i cant lift the fish to have to unhook it in the water.....which is sometimes easier said then done.

This the one in dagenham? I used to fish that as a kid. I probably havent been there for 10 years but i became so shallow.

Yeah i have had a walk around that, A bit too weedy for me i think! i wouldnt have even known where to start when i walked round it was a carpet!

Im looking to do a social with me dad, So im trying to book somewhere and actually book 2 swims together (dont want to turn up and end up on the other side of the lake from him), Can anyone suggest anywhere? Im struggling!

Hey All, Anyone recommend a cheap set of waders? Never really needed them before, Need them on this venue just so i can get out from under the trees for casting, will only be going up to my knees and to be honest i dont think i will be fishing any lakes in the future that will really require them. It will be a case of putting them on, Casting, Taking them off so i dont really want to spend much on them. Any recommendations?

Bovington 2 the venue currently run by CAPS. Im about to start a campaign over there, Aiming for the carp, wont complain if i catch a few of the tench in there either. Does anyone have any knowledge or advice they could pass on? Most of my sessions will be overnighters during the week, At the moment that means arriving at dark and leaving before the sun comes up so any info anyone could provide would be much appreciated as its going to take me a fair while before i get to fish and feature find in daylight!

Love Margin Fishing, Always always have a rod in the edge. My first thirty came no more then a foot of the bank in 2ft of water fishing up againt 1 lonely bullrush. Im fishing a lake which is completely featureless in the margins, so i have been casting or if possible dropping a rig a few feet off the bank in the next swim, No one ever tends to fish an open space in front of the swim left or right of them (from what i have seen anyone) but it has done me very well.

How are people fishing their running leads? On the mainline or are people opting for lead core?

So my Dad wants to go fising in France, My other half has jumped on the band wagon so now i need to find somwhere for 4 adults, 1 baby and 2 teens so its going to be a nice house of some kind close to a lake me and my dad can fish! Can anyone recommend anywhere they have taken the family? Had a look at Saint Amand but apart from that i havent found much else? Thanks guys!
