  1. Great post, just what we need on here, more please
  2. 10M of ESP Camo link was £4.50, ten size 6's £3.75 and ten swivels £2.50 so not far off the tenner I thought.
  3. Where do you live mate? And is Lavender Hall worth a chuck? Been thinking of trying there, what's it got in it?
  4. Bailey's in Warwick. I'm sure I bought the hooks, swivels and ESP hooklink for around a tenner, but it certainly wasn't 25 squid which was the point I was trying to make.
  5. A single size 10-12 ESP hair rig costs £2.50 in my local tackle shop, so if I wanted ten I'd be spending £25. To buy ten hooks, ten swivels and a roll of hooklink material costs about a tenner, and I've got the satisfaction of knowing that the rig that caught the fish was made by myself. I do have a couple of ESP ones, but I by make my own now. Horses for courses, if you have the skill, patience and confidence to tie your own, it's great, if not, then the pre-tied ones are fine for general applications.
  6. A 14yr old short haired english blue pedigree cat, called Velcro.
  7. Couldn't visualise it from the description, but now I've seen the pictures I like it. As far as I can see the hook poses less of a hazard than a maggot ring which has an exposed end.
  8. Nathan, have a look at my post on Spam in a Hula Hoop, I invented it to cast Spam long distance.
