  1. I loved the Greater rod race and also some of the Korda Underwater series was informative too.
  2. Hi fella, I personally would give Blythe a miss but that is for my own reasons, try Earlswood lakes 'Engine' pool, loads to go for but they can be a bit knocked about, Barston is full of carp up to high 20's, Pine pool at Kingsbury water park is a bit trickier but some stunning fish in there, hope these help fella.
  3. A friend fished Pine on Tuesday and had a 23 and a 19 but lost 2 other fish all on 3ft zigs using bright yellow foam. I had 4 x 20's a couple of weeks ago all off the top, biggest was a 25lb 12oz common. Paul.
  4. What I usually do is to warm up some tungsten putty them squeeze it onto the braid and rub it up and down a few times, so leaving some putty impregnated into it making it heavier.
  5. Hi, Regarding Earlswood lakes,Engine pool, bait boats are allowed, 2 rod limit, bright pop-ups are working well for a few fish, hot pegs seem to be the high 20's and 54 to 76, if the wind is light then floating baits can work well, sweetcorn and a bed of particles work. If you get fed up catching carp with quite badly damaged mouths then Windmill pool has some beautifull commons up to high 20's possible 30's? Not highly stocked like Engine but well worth a go.Hope this helps.
