Looking to go over to France next year for a weeks holiday. Would love to do some fishing while I'm over there. Not ready for one of the bigger venues yet but came across this place advertised... Tree Lake Link removed.... not allowed.... Looks ideal for what I'm after at the moment, not too far from Calais and has carp to "40lb plus" apparantly. Also, prices look reasonable at £400.00 rental for the week until the end of June, only going up by £50.00 for July/August/September. If I can get a couple of mates to come along with me it would only work out around £150.00 each. Easy access from Calais (3.5 hours) appeals too. They also state that there is a bigger lake with bigger carp some 10km away that can be fished on a day ticket if we fancied a change. Any thoughts?????? Thanks Rob

I loaded up my two Okuma's with 12lb for a recent visit to a specimen lake, but didn't get the chance to test it out in earnest. Seemed to sit on the spools ok, and casting wasn't a problem with it. Sank pretty quickly too. Just seemed a little thick and wirey compared to some 10lb Sensor that I have.
