i have found a fue hidden gems in their collection of waters and alot of pottential too !

yes some excellent waters and some not so

Trouble with some as far as litter is concerned for sure, but on the whole i like the club

I only fish Milton at the moment because of a lack of time (I only live five minutes by car away)

I did a tour of there waters a few years ago with my eldest’s boyfriend we just got in the car each week and went somewhere new and it was fun

 

Club waters can be a great way to start carping as they are cheap and the young ones can afford them.

So, its a great shame that at Milton Country Park youngsters (obviously old enough to be fishing on there own) have to be with a grown up when they are fishing, its also very discriminatory because it only applies to anglers.

 

i agree and a big open public space like a country park such as Milton is also the saffest place for youngsters to be rather than a mile down a country lane or having to walk through a very large traverlers sight !!

 

i have seen some kids out fishing on one of my other clubs waters of late that could out fish half the adult members any day of the week....

place lake milton i am sure would make a great place for teaching kids to fish not scaring them away.

Alright fella

CFPAS took it over this spring at the request of Cambridge Sport lakes.

I have spoken to the club president and he tells me that they are taking a softly softly approch this year.

The ranger is a bit of a pain for sure (understatment of course)

however read my written blog here about a trip there the other week

i have been a member of cambridge Fish Preservation Angling Club for a long time now when did they secure Milton country park ? not that i am that keen on going while he is still there of course or i could be loosing my membership.

hi i know this is probably a long shot but the power of the internet and all that !

 

does anyone on here know of, or a member of the Saffron Walden Angling Club ?? i am thinking of joining as they have a couple of nice looking waters,

mainly Whittlesford Pit and maybe bordeaux pit !

 

i am not after any hidden secrets or bait advice i am more than happy to do my own homework just wondered if someone could tell me a bit about the club, the waters etc ?? can u night fish these waters ?
