  1. Practice practice practice!!! a good knot is better then a bad knot covered in glue type it into the search/ Google it (other search engines are available ) or there is a book of knots you can buy, the fishing mags are always full of knots
  2. Sounds like a lot of old tosh to me then I am a bit of a dinosaur stuck in my ways for me it's KD all the way (except pop up's) bottom bait = KD, snowman (which is most of my fishing) = KD, PVA bags = KD, Gravel, silt, weed bottom = KD, curved, straight, long or short shank hook = KD!! you get the picture I like the KD and as far as I am concerned I will carry on with it as I am happy and confident in using it as previously mentioned i think the mags have to think rubbish up to fill the pages
  3. KD for me I have been fishing a lake this year and the first couple of trips I had a few runs but missed em all then switched to the KD and have not dropped a fish since. I am fishing a snowman and have a good inch between the bait and the hook
  4. I use 2 foot lengths of tube, have been using tungsten tube recently, good stuff but does seem to break easily
  5. I use the kd for pretty much all my fishing with fox arma point in various patterns (can let you know the exact ones if needed) a nice long hair with a good inch between bait and hook not dropped a fish on it yet (OH DEAR )
  6. Well I wouldn't think so straight shank an all
  7. looking forward to it as well
  8. Hi John, yes I can understand where you are coming from, the fact that I go out of my way to buy GOOD quality feeds and pellets probably makes me think that all others do exactly the same however you guys see a lot more people on the bank then I do... At the end of the day we are coming for a good trip away and maybe a few biggies on the bank .. and always play by the rules no matter where we are look forward to meeting all you guys during our trip..
  9. Any of you fellas out there fished Bounty Lakes??? am going there for the first time this year (first ever France trip) and very excited only thing that is bugging me is the whole thing about not being able to take your own pellets or particles (particles I can understand due to preparation issues) . Any past experiences or things i should note???
