  1. this is a set up ive always wanted to use but have never had the stuff to use it such as float stops

  4. if not useing flourocarbon and useing mono i tend to roll the link round my hand and make a large loop then tie it together with pva tape allowing and easier cast
  5. As far as the pineapple chilli one that works awesome as far as makin another I shall be havin a bash over next few days the quiet days strawberry black pepper chilli is on the list my Mates rolls his own and that's why he made matchin glug now needed
  6. critically balanced yeah just plain pop up i found doesnt for some reason had a fair few missed fish on it

  8. I fish a lake namely merrington where I've been gettin 3 or 4 runs a session with a small conversion rate to fish on the bank I wanna try and sort this out got a feeling this may work let's see

  10. my leads just have a swivel though when bought from shop do ya change these or just but different leads ?
  11. my worry is with a runnind led unless a rig tube is used will the swivel on the lead not wear away running up and down the line ?
  12. yeah on that one it is i started useing the esp coated strip teaze and found it pretty damn good

  14. thats my effort also as a by product i take the swivel out the lead clip and can be used running
  15. yeah they dvd's where decent i do want a korda krusha but cant find them anywhere
  16. yeah must admit i use the palomar on the link loop of a figure of 8 loops only recently found the quick change system its brilliant saves alot of hassle
  17. erm the quick link attaches to either a loop in your hooklink and then i use a silicone sleeve to cover the quick link up if u dont like loops use the link loop im goin again in the morning ill take a picture of my whole thing for you
  18. i pretty much always use 3 rods so i if i want to try a new rig ill put it on one and see how it goes i dont get tremondous time on the bank so want to try new things but dont want to waste a day same thing with a new bait really confidence in your rig is looking good on the bottom is a big thing for me
  19. like i say i stick to the old faithfull while its still catching fish i wont be changeing it i get plenty of distance on it as it is
  20. ok mistake made i aint got the slightest clue to set up a helicopter rig and obviously so doesnt this chap post a picture of a correct one and explain it and where he went wrong think some reactions are a bit harsh he didnt use it for 3 weeks then ask advice he took a picture and asked if it was ok and any tips as to where he is going wrong surely ???
  21. Try sink tubeing I've never used leadcore before it's much better personally if u don't want to use running leads with a line clip works perfect
  22. just been the tackle shops and was lookin at this braid and the esp coated ones just out of interest how do you strip the coat off ???
  23. i only use super stiff on pop ups never thought of it on normal cheers for the tips guys i want a new hooklink anyway so ill try that and the casting and if not the superstiff it is cheers guys see thats why i love this site so much
  24. think i will do so any recomendations easy to tie none tangle stuff ? should it be coated
