is Jubilee day ticket? thought it was members only? had a walk round that muddy hole today3 guys fishing it only had one fish between them 14 pounder apparently the place gets hammered at the weekends and is only 5 foot deep all overis pretty open and raised higher than the fields surrounding it so was pretty windy there, might give it a go next year in the summer but think I will leave it for now

from what I know of Coombe it is mainly a pike and zander water have had a few sessions there years ago, if I remember right the carp tend to be caught in the permit holder swims wether this has changed now it has been over 7 years i have been there, if you go let us know how you get on -

I know mate to be honest at the time didn't think much of it have only recently took up fishing again after 10 years out, wish I had now though got it out of the specimen pool at weston lawns nr coventry

I was using king prawns last week on a anti eject rig had a 5 pound perch had a few bream no carp on the prawns though!

You got Monks Pool, and Weston Lawns in Bulkington Monks Pool don't allow you to use boilies but some good sport there not sure what they go up to in there though 20 + I imagine?
