It really annoys me that certain people that call themselves "Anglers" and you would think would respect wildlife and the surroundings they are in still persist in leaving bags, tins and the like but the most annoying thing for me is line, i know we all cut amounts of line at the bank but most of us manage to take it home or to the nearest bin. Rant over

He just means the search facility on the forum, may get more info on shatterford and other vneues possibly closer to home aswell Incidently I went to shatterford some years ago now when i was first into carp fishing and generally only surface fished, has some nice fish to about 12 on the day including a nice koi and also lost a couple of bigger fish Iggy

Fished in close to the edge of a tree, fruity boilies over a mix of hemp, corn and pellets, i would fish a rod close in there and wait for em to move in, keep feeding the spot and maybe fish another rod to moving fish. Don't rule out the surface either, very easy to get them feeding on the surface there Iggy............

Hi Villan More or less opposite the boats for the one of the surface but stepson fished monday further round towards the corner on the same bank and he had 2 x 10's an 8 and a 13.5 which had a bit of a hump lol. When you do go look to the margins towards evening as they seem to move in close then. Iggy

Hi Villan and all I have now joined Blackfords but not yet had a proper session, did pop last night and about 7.00pm and managed a nice 11.5lb common on freelined mixers which i was quite pleased with in a very short amount of time. Iggy
