  1. Hi Daniel, Not really a hard venue but you won't get more than a couple in a day tbh, what works elsewhere should generally work there. Biggest fish are probably low 20's and not very many that size. Floater fishing can work well there if you can avoid the ducks. Tight lines
  2. Hi All, Does anyone have any info at all on this water, sydicated etc... If you'd prefer to PM me the info please do so. Thanks
  3. Lol Good to see a 20lb though as i was begining to think there wasnt any in there. Might see you up there sometime Yeah might well do m8
  4. Nice fish m8, how big was the common? Looks a really nice fish
  5. Hi Paul I would agree about calf heath and i've had fish to 17 out of turf but only started there in Sept and its been pretty tough since tbh. The pic in my avatar is from Sainburys pool m8, very tough water and not many in there but thats my PB so the perseverance paid off there
  6. would agree with you on this one paul but it's been froze over for the last 3 weeks and there has only been three fish pulled out in the last 4 months 4 Months ? I think not, i had a 12lb and my stepson a couple of smaller fish in mid to late November I have found Turf pretty tough on the occaisions i've fished it during 2008 and certainly wouldn't class it as an easy water, maybe its down to the angling pressure or the up and down weather but a lot of people on there have commented on how tough its been on there. Personally i wouldn't even think about spodding thereat the moment, single baits and watching for the showing fish worked for us last time we were there and no one else caught during the couple of sessions we had there in November so we must have done something right. Tight Lines
  7. There you go Kev I would also be interested in joining brewood anglers if anyone has any ideas? I know Jemsue5 has previously stated you need to be nominated and then seconded and still have to wait to join, does anyone know any different?
  8. http://www.barstonlakes.co.uk/ Plenty of info on there and pics
  9. This fish was caught on the new Dynamite Frank Warwick developed Spicy Tuna and Sweet chilli Boilie (sounds good) http://www.dynamitebaits.com/index.php?id=1035 Also a couple of pieces about someone catching on them whilst field Testing, also reading in this months carpworld that they are to release Terry Hearns Red fish (with added robin red) No doubt there will be a few others coming along too
  10. You mean the mill as in Cuttle mill ? If so you have already been advised where to look http://www.carp.com/carp-forum/viewtopic.php?t=37336 ADDED - Apparently there own baits that they sell on site are supposed to go pretty well
  11. I would say the method with mini or standard boilies would be the general method used by a lot of the carpers there the same as drayton and it would be the 1st thing i would try
  12. Agreed and doubled with bells on, really not worth the risk my friend
  13. Try this http://www.fisheries.co.uk/boddington/index.htm and hope maybe someone on here has fished there more recently I would think if it fishes in a similar vein to Drayton that the Method would be your best bet
