  1. is it the Orchid lake at Lacs Du Verger that your going to ? If so, go on You Tube and search Lacs Du Verger, theres a few vids of some big fish caught from there. They have either poissen chat or crays in there so they advise using there own Rosehip boilies as they dont seem to like those. The Las Du Verger website do weekly catch reports as well, last week in the snow 30 odd fish came out to 8 anglers including a few 40s so you can only imagine how it fishes during the warmer months !!
  2. Just over a week to go now matey !! Counting the days !!! Were going to Willow for a week, then from there were heading accross to Etoile Lake for another 5 days. Has anybody fished either venue before ? Any tips or advice ? Cheers
  3. Am I the only one who was expecting his mate to come up to the surface holding the carrot dressed up like a scuba diving rabbit ?
  4. As Scotty says above we fished lake 3 in September and if lake 4 is the one over the railway lines the weed on that lake was right upto the surface and covered most of the lake! The dutch fellas fishing the lake packed up and went home early in the end as they lost any fish they hooked as they stood 0% chance of landing anything through all that weed. Also, they all had to double up on swims as there was only 1 or 2 spots that they could place a bait into. The people who run the complex are pretty good though and if there is space on one of the other lakes they are usually ok about people moving. Lake 3 was definately the most productive of all the lakes there ! Beware the STURGE !
