I'm going to "The Sanctuary Fishery" again for the second year running, had a 53lb mirror last year i wonder what we going to find this year.

Me personally i take 14mm and 18mm with 10mm used in loose feed that way you can ring the changes, as for type two years ago i used KG-1's which brought me a 49lb 12oz mirror, and last year i use SC25 from tails-up which brought me a 53lb mirror so when i go at the end of April I'll be using that again.

Hi pal i did this water a couple of years ago and found it to be OK, it was with Angling Lines then it may still be i don't know, but the water then was full of fish and i mean full if when you go its hot you will see what i mean. I had fish up to the magic 50lb mark and was on the Angling Lines website because of it also there are sturgeon in there i had them up to 40lb plus big grasses. I was on the peg 6 and it fished ok even though they were spawning if you do a search on here you will see my write up, I'm going to the sanctuary again this year thats something everyone should look at, i did it last year and had a 53lb mirror i wonder what I'll get this time round. Anything else mate just pm me.

Sale is a club water now it was £40 for the year last year, there are some big carp and cats to be had but you need to put some time in to find them, i wonder what price it is this year as ticket runs out at end of the month, only 200 members last year.

If you want to catch tiddlers then this is the place to go. As for runs waters your going to find it hard to find a good one in the north west i wish you luck and if you do let me know.

Oh right, i didn't realise that you could get a season ticket for sale, i thought it was just a day/night ticket place. Has it been sorted out now then because I'd heard a few stories about people getting their tackle stolen a couple of years back. Yep i do night fish but that extra cost isn't an issue when compared to what i will save over a season compared to day ticket places. Not overly fussed about catching massive fish but on the other hand don't want tiddlers either. I think having a choice of waters is the most appealing part of being in a club because then i can pick a venue to suit what sort of mood I'm in i.e. hard waters with big fish to give me a challenge or an easy water if I'm in need of a morale boost, if you get me. Thanks for all the feedback by the way, it's exactly what i was after and is good to talk to someone helpful. You may find it hard to get on most of warringtons waters at wk ends well the best one's any way or you can fish there really hard waters like sandiway they don't have many easy waters, if you fish with a bait boat sale will be right up your street pal as the fish seem to follow them and you get get right into them with them following the speed boats all the time, you could always try pendle view as a day water I've always wanted to but never seem to have the time so i always do one of warringtons or do a couple of nights on sale. But then this time next wk I'll be on my way to France to fish the Sanctuary fishery and i can't wait, if i can help any more my mate just pm me and if i can send you in the right places I'll try.

So is it hard to get on the waters then? Because that's what i was afraid of, the thought of paying just £40 per annum for a choice of good waters seems ideal, but would i be able to get on whenever i turn up? I'm afraid of paying my £80 to join and getting all geared up only to find the lake(s) is/are full when i arrive. Do you know anything about Lymm Anglers? I assume they are a very popular club too? Never fancied Sale Water Park due to it's past security issues. Plus it's the day ticket prices again. Now don't worry about Sale as it is perfectly fine and that is or was last season £50 so price is right up there and you get 45 acre's to go at don't know to much about Lymm so can't comment. Do you night fish cos you can add another 15 sheets with Warrington what size carp are you after then we now where to send you.

Now i haven't renewed with Warrington as of yet but there waters do get very busy, places like Grey Mist are always busy with the same people getting all the pegs all of the time, so think long and hard my mate. Sale Water Park on the other hand is a good water in the way you don't need to book to fish plus you can stay for as long as you like and there are some big fish in there with big cats to boot just takes time to get use to it.

You may find it hard in this area pal to find anything you want I'm to from Stockport, and to be far you only have Prince Albert, Stoke, Warrington or maybe Sale water park. As for day ticket waters there aren't many that don't get battered. Good luck

Yes mate it is still open i fished it last may and even though they were spawning we still a rather good week hard but good, two over 40, one at 44lb 10oz and another at 49lb 4oz, a 40lb sturgeon a couple over thirty and a couple of 20's. Angling Lines are the company that run the holidays there and the bloke that owns it is called Christophe i did have a number for him if i can route it out i will PM you as you can get it a little cheaper through him if you can speak french that is as he doesn't speak a word of English.

I've just done Roseau with Angling-lines and would recommend it mate not far from Calais 2.5 hrs taking your time, i had two carp over 40lb one going 49lb 4oz one at 44lb 10 oz plus a 31lber, grass carp over 23lb and others around mid 20's and a lovely sturgeon that was 40lb on the dot, it's supposed to be a run's water but they were spawning when we were there so we were fishing for the odd fish rather than the many. But the week before the lad in the swim i picked in the draw had over 100 carp so they are there.

Well been back a couple of weeks now just not had time to get on here, well what can i say had a good week apart from fish spawning and having two of the worst thunder storms I've ever seen. out of the two lake s on the complex i had the two biggest carp and the biggest sturgeon. 49lb 4oz Mirror, 44lb 2oz mirror, 31lb 6oz mirror, 23lb 10 oz mirror, 23lb 7 oz grassie, 25lb 2oz mirror, 40lb sturgeon plus 7 bream and 2 tench, a common would of been nice but then there's next year to try for one of them.

Oh well Friday it is can't wait.

Is this a new one for this year my mate? As i haven't heard of this one, I'm going to Roseau in may and i can't wait.
