I'm going to "The Sanctuary Fishery" again for the second year running, had a 53lb mirror last year i wonder what we going to find this year.

Me personally i take 14mm and 18mm with 10mm used in loose feed that way you can ring the changes, as for type two years ago i used KG-1's which brought me a 49lb 12oz mirror, and last year i use SC25 from tails-up which brought me a 53lb mirror so when i go at the end of April I'll be using that again.

Hi pal i did this water a couple of years ago and found it to be OK, it was with Angling Lines then it may still be i don't know, but the water then was full of fish and i mean full if when you go its hot you will see what i mean. I had fish up to the magic 50lb mark and was on the Angling Lines website because of it also there are sturgeon in there i had them up to 40lb plus big grasses. I was on the peg 6 and it fished ok even though they were spawning if you do a search on here you will see my write up, I'm going to the sanctuary again this year thats something everyone should look at, i did it last year and had a 53lb mirror i wonder what I'll get this time round. Yes mate it is still open i fished it last may and even though they were spawning we still a rather good week hard but good, two over 40, one at 44lb 10oz and another at 49lb 4oz, a 40lb sturgeon a couple over thirty and a couple of 20's. Angling Lines are the company that run the holidays there and the bloke that owns it is called Christophe i did have a number for him if i can route it out i will PM you as you can get it a little cheaper through him if you can speak french that is as he doesn't speak a word of English.

I've just done Roseau with Angling-lines and would recommend it mate not far from Calais 2.5 hrs taking your time, i had two carp over 40lb one going 49lb 4oz one at 44lb 10 oz plus a 31lber, grass carp over 23lb and others around mid 20's and a lovely sturgeon that was 40lb on the dot, it's supposed to be a run's water but they were spawning when we were there so we were fishing for the odd fish rather than the many. But the week before the lad in the swim i picked in the draw had over 100 carp so they are there.

Well been back a couple of weeks now just not had time to get on here, well what can i say had a good week apart from fish spawning and having two of the worst thunder storms I've ever seen. out of the two lake s on the complex i had the two biggest carp and the biggest sturgeon. 49lb 4oz Mirror, 44lb 2oz mirror, 31lb 6oz mirror, 23lb 10 oz mirror, 23lb 7 oz grassie, 25lb 2oz mirror, 40lb sturgeon plus 7 bream and 2 tench, a common would of been nice but then there's next year to try for one of them.

Oh well Friday it is can't wait.

Is this a new one for this year my mate? As i haven't heard of this one, I'm going to Roseau in may and i can't wait.

Well i have made my mind up got my pellet now 25kg bollies 15kg 18mm K-G-1's then the rest is only what we would all use over here can't wait about 8 weeks to go.

Being of May mate well i hope it is that's when I'll be there.

Cheers fella seems the way I'm going is best, and yes you can get it there but at really high prices, the one thing you have to get is there Tiger nuts, so apart from that all systems go i will report as soon as i get back.

Can no-one help out with baits? Has no one on here fished this venue?

Do we think 15kg of bollies will be enough?? With then pellets as well??

Go on the Angling Lines website mate and look at there feedback on this water that may help.
